Playing contributes to physical and mental stimulation, which is why <strong>game based learning<\/strong>, more often than not, helps acquire disciplinary and socio-emotional skills.<\/p><p>Gaming can be used both in schools and in companies and should not be confused with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vitecoelearning.eu\/en\/gamification-in-business-as-new-model-of-training-within-companies\/\"><strong>gamification<\/strong><\/a>. They are two distinct concepts. The latter, which are the result of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jogroup.eu\/en\/jo-group-journal\/what-is-digital-transformation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>digital transformation<\/strong><\/a>, are regarded as a medium of choice to achieve learning objectives.<\/p><p>Technologies such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pmf-research.eu\/en\/augmented-reality-and-virtual-reality-differences-and-perspectives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>virtual reality (VR)<\/strong><\/a> allow players to be immersed in scenarios recreated in <strong>computer graphics<\/strong>.
