VITECO, an innovative SME with expertise in e-learning solutions (such as LMS development, serious games, and SCORM conversion), announces the acquisition of two products from HT Apps (another innovative SME): JOBy and ULOI.
The acquisition, effective from October 1, 2025, marks an important step in expanding the range of digital products offered by the company. VITECO is increasingly becoming an “hub” for web applications within the JO Group, while HT Apps remains focused on research and development (R&D) activities related to the development of innovative web apps.

What’s changing?
JOBy, the attendance tracking app, and ULOI (short for Universal Learning Object Integrator), a universal data exchange module, are now VITECO trademarks. The acquisition includes the transfer of all intellectual property rights and the customer portfolio.
Regarding JOBy, VITECO will receive:
- the full source code of the mobile app for iOS and Android;
- the source code of the admin panel;
- the database and related data structures;
- complete technical documentation (user manuals, functional and architectural specifications);
- graphic materials, including logos, icons, and user interfaces;
- intellectual property rights and associated know-how;
- copyright ownership rights;
- trademarks, distinctive signs, web domains, and related accounts;
- the customer portfolio with related licensing contracts.
Regarding ULOI, the following will be transferred:
- moral and economic rights, including the right to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, and process the software;
- the full source code, including all libraries and project specifications;
- technical documentation, such as user manuals and installation guides;
- exclusive rights to the use of the “ULOI” trademark and related distinctive signs.

HT Apps: continuing its mission in support of research and development projects in ICT
HT Apps will continue to focus on the development of web applications (web-apps) for research and development projects, an area where it has been deeply involved in the disruptive changes of recent years.
A strategic vision
The acquisition of JOBy and ULOI is part of the JO Group’s strategy to strengthen VITECO in the European landscape.
Since 2004, VITECO has been developing cutting-edge FAD platforms and serious games across Europe. It is also specialized in converting learning objects into SCORM format, the industry standard.
VITECO does not offer online courses but develops learning management systems (LMS) for public and private schools, training organizations, and Continuing Medical Education providers in Italy.
The e-learning platforms (starting with e-Logos) developed by VITECO are compliant with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2017 standards.
